If you you take any pictures of us at an event and post them somewhere, could you please add a hobbitsteewildliferefuge hashtag...

Hobbitstee Wildlife Refuge offers interactive programs for people of all ages to learn more about wildlife.

We can cover a variety of topics:

  • Specific species or groups of wildlife (birds, bats, coyotes or herptiles etc)
  • Peaceful coexisting with wildlife
  • Wildlife do’s and don’ts
  • Ecology
  • And much more...

We can come onsite (indoor/outdoor) and we can do hands using feathers, foot prints, eggs, skulls and other items or simply a speaking engagement.

We do not however bring wildlife. We believe in letting wildlife be wild and that they should be viewed in the wild from a safe and non-obtrusive distance. Our programs are flexible and can be adapted to suit any age group and circumstance. The hands on portion makes it a lot of fun for children.

We are a non-for-profit charitable organization. As well as public outreach and wildlife education, we rehabilitate injured, orphaned and displaced wildlife. In return for a visit from us we ask that you cover our travel expenses and make a tax deductible donation.

Every penny of your donation will be used to assist the wildlife we have in our care.
